ByMediation is on your side when your wish is to save cost in time, money, and emotional drain that comes with protracted litigation in which decisions are taken out of your hands and may be imposed rather than you being in the driving seat, fashioning the solutions that you will consider most suitable for your situation and making inputs into how your issues are resolved to your satisfaction, all the way through. So, who says you cannot be a judge in your own cause?  Here’s your chance to be that judge in your own case. And if that feels empowering, it is because Mediation and Conciliation are empowering.

But know it, that it is not all and every issues that are suitable for mediation. There are just those odd things for which mediation may not be suitable. Like, high conflict situations, where power imbalances will evidently inhibit good faith negotiations and a fair resolution. Like, where harm, fraud and other forms of abuses are involved or significant rights violations are implicated and only litigation will be appropriate for a just decision.

It is always advisable to first ascertain your legal rights through your own independent legal advice, to arm yourself with adequate information before heading into mediation. Outside of the boundary of matters considered not suitable for mediation it’s your canvas to make your own imprints, as party to meditation.
